Chapter 1 · Section One, Crossings
Everyone Has to Cross
You don't have to be ready. You just have to go.
The question this chapter asks
What crossing have you been putting off?

Six endings
Six times over, finish this sentence: the crossing in front of me is. Keep the one that costs the most, circle it, and bring the page to your group.
For the group
Go around the circle. Each person names one crossing they've already made and one they've been avoiding. No commentary from the group, just listen.
For the leader
Don't rush past the naming. If it gets quiet after someone speaks, that's the group working.
If your group prays together
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
