Chapter 6 · Section Two, Destiny
Knowing Yourself
Every crossing after this one starts from here.
The question this chapter asks
What true thing about yourself have you refused to say plainly?
Practice
20 minutes
Ten honest lines
Ten sentences about yourself you would not put on a public profile: write them. Keep them factual, not harsh. Fold the page so only you can see it until the group meets.
For the group
Read one of your "ten honest lines" to the group. Just one. The one that cost the most to write.
For the leader
Go first yourself. The leader's vulnerability sets the ceiling for everyone else's.
If your group prays together
I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Optional.
