Chasing the Realm Instead of the Crossing
Before you cross outward, the realm you're standing in has to hold.

Place or crossing
Write what you are chasing. Then decide honestly whether it is a place you want or a crossing you are willing to make, and write one sentence explaining your decision.
For the group
Are you chasing a destination right now, the marriage, the job, the ministry, without doing the crossing work the destination requires? Be honest. The group won't judge. They'll help you see the difference.
For the leader
This chapter confronts the most common self-deception in Christian life. Be gentle but don't let people off the hook.
