Chapter 34 · Section Eight, Barriers to Crossing
Getting Stuck (And What It Costs You)
Being stuck isn't dramatic. It's the slow shrinking of the world to a manageable size.
The question this chapter asks
Where has your world been getting smaller?

The cost of one more year
One more year in the same place: write what it would cost you, in specifics, not feelings. Read the list back once, slowly.
For the group
Where has your world quietly shrunk to a manageable size? Name the area, relational, vocational, financial, or spiritual, where you've been stuck longest. How long has it been?
For the leader
"How long" is the question that makes people honest. "A few months" is different from "eleven years."
If your group prays together
Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.
